About Magna Kubo
A fast casual restaurant focusing on the rotisserie meats of the Philippines, Magna Kubo is an extension of Magna Kusina. Founders Carlo Lamagna and Kevin Balonso wanted to share their unique takes on Filipino food and one of the most celebrated dishes, lechon. Carlo and Kevin alongside managing partner Beatriz strive to make Magna Kubo a second home for the community.
ABOUT BEA LUGTU
Bea Lugtu is the General Manager, Catering Director and Creative Director of Magna Kubo. Also known as Buhn Bee, she is a self taught multifaceted creative. She began her journey in the streetwear industry as a product developer for Diamond Supply Co., Hall of Fame LTD and Dimepiece Los Angeles. Collaborating with other designers and seeing the motive in their creations, motivated her to transition into the creative realm with a mission: to empower individuals to share their narratives through captivating visual displays, innovative product designs, and impactful branding initiatives.
She designed and illustrated this year’s Filipino Food Month campaign.
